A decade of flooring, now rooted in Huntsville
Perfectum Floors installs hardwood, LVP, laminate and carpet across Huntsville and North Alabama. The name comes from the Latin word for perfect — and after more than ten years and 108 five-star reviews, perfection is still the standard we hold on every floor.

Who we are
Perfection is the standard, not the slogan
Perfectum Floors is a local, owner-run flooring company led by founder Lucas Souza. We specialize in luxury vinyl plank, laminate, engineered hardwood and solid hardwood, and we also refinish, repair and replace floors damaged by water. One crew measures, preps and installs, so nothing gets lost in a handoff.
The name is inspired by the Latin word for “perfect,” and it sets the bar we hold on every project — high-quality, durable, and finished with the kind of attention to detail that earns a five-star review. Our promise is simple: get the conditions right, pick the floor for the home, and leave the house cleaner than we found it.
What sets us apart is a process, not a pitch. Most floor failures in the Tennessee Valley come down to moisture and subfloor prep that nobody checked. So we lead every job with a moisture reading of the slab or crawlspace and an honest look at the subfloor, then recommend a floor that fits the conditions — not just the showroom.
Our story
From north Georgia to the Tennessee Valley
More than a decade of floors, across three states, now headquartered in Huntsville.
- 1
Metro Atlanta
Where it started
Perfectum Floors took root serving homeowners around Kennesaw and the north-Georgia suburbs, where founder Lucas Souza built the business on referrals and finished work.
- 2
Chattanooga, TN
A planning office
As the crew grew, Lucas ran scheduling and project planning from a Chattanooga office, extending the service across the Tennessee Valley.
- 3
Huntsville, AL
Headquartered today
Perfectum Enterprises LLC is now headquartered in Huntsville, AL (registered and active in Tennessee and Alabama), focused on homeowners across North Alabama.
Perfectum Enterprises LLC is registered in Tennessee (#001560447, active) and Alabama (#001-191-586). Over that time the business has grown from word-of-mouth jobs in metro Atlanta into a trusted flooring crew for North Alabama homeowners — the 108 five-star Google reviews are the record of that work.
Meet the owner
Lucas Souza, founder & lead installer
Lucas has spent more than ten years installing and refinishing floors, and he still plans and oversees the work personally. Customers mention him by name in their reviews — for clear communication, for showing up when he says he will, and for treating a home (and the family dog) with respect.
That hands-on involvement is why the moisture-first process is non-negotiable here: Lucas would rather tell you a floor is wrong for a room than sell it and watch it fail. It is also why the reviews read the way they do.

How we work
Free measure, written quote, clean job
Every project starts with a free in-home measure. We measure each room, test for moisture, and hand you a written quote that itemizes materials, prep, removal, trim and waste — so you can compare it line by line against any other bid.
On install day, we protect your home, move furniture, tear out and haul away the old flooring, and leave the site clean. Punctual, communicative, tidy — the details customers name in their reviews.
Reputation
A 5.0 rating earned job by job
Perfectum Floors holds a 5.0 rating from 108 Google reviews — over 100 five-star ratings — across installs, refinishing and repairs. You can read them on our reviews page or on Google.

What our customers say
“I cannot express enough how wonderful my experience was! They were professional and courteous through the whole process. All of my questions were answered as needed. They worked hard so that I could get to things I needed during construction. I have a dog, and they were very kind to her. By the end of the construction I felt as though they were family and my floors were fabulous! I will call on them again and would recommend them to my friends and family too.”
“This company did an amazing job with our floors! Lucas and his team did great work. They communicated well and were nice to work with. They worked efficiently and precisely and cleaned up afterwards. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have floor work done.”
“Great team. Happy with communication and install. Hard working and prepared. Power went out during the install and in 10 minutes they had a generator running lights and were back at work. Will definitely use again.”
