Local, owner-run, over a decade of floors
Perfectum Floors is a local, owner-run company led by founder Lucas Souza, with more than ten years of flooring experience. What began as word-of-mouth work in metro Atlanta grew through a Chattanooga office into a crew now headquartered in Huntsville, AL — registered and active as Perfectum Enterprises LLC. The name comes from the Latin word for perfect, and it is the standard we hold on every floor.
Licensed and insured, we lead every job with a moisture reading, because the Tennessee Valley’s humidity and slab construction punish floors that go in without one. Read our story.

Why Tennessee Valley floors need a moisture-first crew
Huntsville summers are humid, and that humidity is the single biggest threat to a new floor. Air near the Tennessee River and moisture rising through a concrete slab make hardwood cup in July and gap in January, swell laminate at the seams, and lift LVP that was laid over an untested slab.
The housing stock splits the work, too. The 1960s Space Age ranches around the Arsenal sit on crawlspaces and often hide original oak worth refinishing. The newer slab subdivisions in Madison and Meridianville want waterproof LVP run continuously through open plans. We match the floor to the construction — and we read the moisture first, every time, so the floor that looks right on install day still looks right next August.
